These dangling earrings feature approximately 8mm Japanese Akoya cultured pearls. Enjoy the unique silver-gray hue of pearls that have not been dyed or color-treated, along with the distinct baroque shapes of each individual pearl.

The Current State of Akoya Pearls
The number of domestic Akoya pearl farmers has decreased by approximately 80% over the past 30 years. Since 2019, mass mortality of host oysters has further compounded the issue, causing annual production to drop to around 12 tons. Meanwhile, demand continues to rise, particularly from China, causing market prices to increase year after year.
Our products are crafted from pearls we have secured by maintaining close relationships with producers, purchasing them before the current market price hikes. If we were to source pearls of the same quality now, we would not be able to offer them at this price. This quantity is limited to the stock we currently have on hand.

About Individual Variations in Pearls
We do not use dyeing or color-enhancing treatments, allowing you to enjoy the natural color and luster of Akoya pearls grown in Japanese waters. Because these colors are created by the oyster layering nacre in the sea, there are individual differences in color, shape, luster, surface blemishes, and minor irregularities. The product photos provided are examples.
Delivery Information
Each piece is inspected before shipping and will arrive in a Bis・SPIRA jewelry case accompanied by a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items will be shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is also available.

Care and After-Sales Support
After wearing, please wipe gently with a soft cloth before storing. Simply removing sweat and sebum will help maintain the pearl's luster. Please apply perfume and hair spray before putting on your pearls. Store in a place where they will not rub against other jewelry. Please feel free to contact us for post-purchase inquiries, such as restringing or clasp adjustments.
Delivery and Returns
Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items will be shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days, and free gift wrapping is available.
Returns and exchanges are accepted only for unused and unworn items within 8 days of arrival. For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be returned or exchanged due to customer preference. In the event of a defective or incorrect item, we will replace it at our own expense. For details, please see our notation based on the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does “undyed and untoned” mean?
It means that no dye is added and no color-toning treatment is used, preserving the natural hues and luster of Japanese Akoya pearls.
What are baroque and semi-baroque pearls?
These pearls are not perfectly round; each has different contours and fullness. Semi-baroque pearls have relatively gentle contours while retaining baroque individuality. Dimples and subtle surface variations also develop naturally as pearls grow.
Will I receive the exact item in the photos?
Photos show examples. We deliver equivalent items selected to our quality standards, but Japanese Akoya pearls vary individually in color, shape, luster, surface condition, and the contours of each pair due to growing conditions and differences between oysters.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping within Japan, including remote islands, is free. Delivery is by Yamato Transport.
Returns and exchanges
For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or incorrectly delivered. Please contact us within 8 days of delivery if either issue occurs.
