The natural luster of Akoya pearls, even without pierced ears.
These are clip-on earrings featuring Japanese Akoya cultured pearls measuring approximately 8mm. The silver-gray color, achieved with no dyes or color enhancements, sways softly at the ear. Featuring a resin spring mechanism that clips onto the earlobe, they can be comfortably worn by those without pierced ears.

The tension of the resin springs can be adjusted by using your fingers to slowly bend them outward. We recommend starting with a gentle hold and adjusting bit by bit. Try to find the fit that feels most comfortable on your ears rather than spreading them too wide at once.
For those with pierced ears, we also offer dangling earrings (22,000 JPY, tax included) made with the same non-enhanced Akoya pearls.

The State of Akoya Pearls
The number of producers cultivating domestic Akoya pearls has decreased by about 80% over the last 30 years. Since 2019, combined with mass die-offs of mother oysters, annual production has fallen to around 12 tons. Meanwhile, demand—particularly from China—continues to grow, causing market prices to rise year after year.
Our products are made using pearls we secured before these price hikes through our long-standing relationships with producers. If we were to collect pearls of the same quality today, we would not be able to offer them at this price. The quantity is limited to what we currently have on hand.

About Variations in Pearls
We do not use dyeing or color-enhancement processes, allowing the natural color and luster of Akoya pearls grown in Japanese waters to shine through. Because these colors are born from layers formed by the oyster in the ocean, there are individual differences in color, shape, luster, surface dimples (blemishes), and asymmetry between the left and right sides. The photos shown are examples of the product.

Each item is inspected individually before shipment and delivered in a Bis・SPIRA jewelry case accompanied by an IRIS・SPIRA quality certificate. Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped within 3 business days via Yamato Transport. We also offer free gift wrapping.

About the quality certificate
Every product is delivered with a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. This is an individual certificate recording the type, size, color, and treatment status of your specific pearl, which can also be useful for future size adjustments or repair consultations.
Care and After-Sales Support
After wearing, gently wipe with a soft cloth before storing. Simply removing sweat and skin oils helps maintain the luster. Please apply perfumes or hairsprays before putting on your pearls. Store in a place where they will not rub against other jewelry. Please feel free to contact us for after-purchase support, such as restringing or clasp adjustments.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped within 3 business days via Yamato Transport, and we offer free gift wrapping.
Returns and exchanges are accepted for unused and unworn items within 8 days of receipt (note: custom-made items, processed items, and pierced earrings are excluded for hygiene reasons). In the event of a defective product or shipping error, we will cover the return shipping costs. For returns due to customer preference, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Frequently Asked Questions
What does “undyed and untoned” mean?
It means that no dye is added and no color-toning treatment is used, preserving the natural hues and luster of Japanese Akoya pearls.
What are baroque and semi-baroque pearls?
These pearls are not perfectly round; each has different contours and fullness. Semi-baroque pearls have relatively gentle contours while retaining baroque individuality. Dimples and subtle surface variations also develop naturally as pearls grow.
Will I receive the exact item in the photos?
Photos show examples. We deliver equivalent items selected to our quality standards, but Japanese Akoya pearls vary individually in color, shape, luster, surface condition, and the contours of each pair due to growing conditions and differences between oysters.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping within Japan, including remote islands, is free. Delivery is by Yamato Transport.
Returns and exchanges
Unused items may be returned or exchanged after we review their condition, provided you contact us in advance within 8 days of delivery. Please contact our inquiry desk first.
