Akoya pearl jewelry designed for everyday wear, carrying on the aesthetic of IRIS・SPIRA.
Soft white radiance, swaying at your ears.
Dangling earrings featuring approximately 8mm Japanese Akoya pearls. Their natural, uncolored and untoned white hue, combined with the pink and green interference colors visible at certain angles, creates a soft shimmer that moves with you.
The pearls are semi-round, possessing a slight, unique character in their shape. Each piece is individual, with variations in shape, color, and surface features like small dimples or fine irregularities.

Delivery
Each item is inspected before shipping and delivered in a Bis・SPIRA jewelry case with a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is available.

About the quality certificate
All items come with a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. This individual document notes the type, size, color, and processing details of your pearl, and can be useful for future sizing or repair consultations.
Care and Maintenance
After wearing, please gently wipe with a soft cloth before storing. Simply removing sweat and sebum helps maintain the luster. Apply perfumes and hairspray before putting on your pearls. Store in a place where they will not rub against other jewelry. For more details, see our pearl care guide.
Delivery and Returns
Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is available.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 8 days of receipt for unused and unworn items. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for pierced earrings due to customer preference. Akoya pearls today
The number of Japanese Akoya pearl farmers has fallen by about 80% over the past 30 years. Since 2019, mass mortality of parent oysters has further reduced annual production to around 12 tonnes. Meanwhile, demand, particularly from China, continues to grow, and market prices rise year by year.
Our jewelry uses pearls secured before market prices rose, through long-standing relationships with producers. We could not offer these prices if we sourced pearls of the same quality today. Quantities are limited to the pearls we have on hand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does “undyed and untoned” mean?
It means that no dye is added and no color-toning treatment is used, preserving the natural hues and luster of Japanese Akoya pearls.
What are baroque and semi-baroque pearls?
These pearls are not perfectly round; each has different contours and fullness. Semi-baroque pearls have relatively gentle contours while retaining baroque individuality. Dimples and subtle surface variations also develop naturally as pearls grow.
Will I receive the exact item in the photos?
Photos show examples. We deliver equivalent items selected to our quality standards, but Japanese Akoya pearls vary individually in color, shape, luster, surface condition, and the contours of each pair due to growing conditions and differences between oysters.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping within Japan, including remote islands, is free. Delivery is by Yamato Transport.
Returns and exchanges
For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings cannot be returned or exchanged unless defective or incorrectly delivered. Please contact us within 8 days of delivery if either issue occurs.
