A single-pearl pendant necklace featuring a Japanese Akoya cultured pearl. Choose between two sizes: 9mm and 8mm. The soft, natural white—uncolored and untoned—blends seamlessly with both casual outfits and formal attire. The SV925 chain is approximately 45cm long and adjustable.

About the Size
Both sizes are perfect for everyday wear and complement any outfit.
- 9mm — A distinct presence at the neckline. It adds a polished finish to your outfit even on its own and looks beautiful for formal occasions.
- 8mm — A lighter, more delicate impression. It rests gently against your neck and pairs perfectly with both shirts and knits.
Although the difference in diameter is only 1mm, because they are spherical, the impression changes noticeably when worn.
A Silver Gray 9mm (55,000 yen, tax included) version of this same design is also available.

The Current State of Akoya Pearls
The number of Akoya pearl farmers in Japan has decreased by about 80% over the last 30 years. Following mass mortality of mother shells since 2019, production has dropped to around 12 tons per year. Meanwhile, demand continues to rise, especially from China, causing market prices to increase year after year.
Our products are crafted using pearls that we secured before these price hikes through our long-standing relationships with regional producers. If we were to source pearls of the same quality now, we would not be able to offer them at this price. This is a limited supply from our current stock.

Each pearl is unique
Since they are neither colored nor toned, even pearls labeled as "white" may have subtle pink undertones or blue and green interference colors. Because these colors are born as the shell layers form within the oyster, each pearl differs in color, shape, luster, and surface characteristics like dimples or micro-irregularities. We will select and ship a piece as close to the color tone shown in the photos as possible.
Delivery Information
Each item is inspected individually before shipment and delivered with a Bis・SPIRA jewelry case and a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is also available.

About the quality certificate
All products are delivered with a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. This individual document certifies the type, size, color, and processing of your specific pearl and will be useful for future inquiries regarding adjustments or repairs.
Care and Maintenance
After wearing, please wipe gently with a soft cloth before storing. Simply removing sweat and sebum will help maintain the luster. Please apply perfumes or hairsprays before putting on your jewelry. Store in a place where it will not rub against other jewelry. Please feel free to contact us for after-purchase care, such as restringing or clasp adjustments.
Delivery and Returns
Shipping is free within Japan, including to remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is available.
Returns and exchanges are accepted for unused and unworn items within 8 days of receipt (made-to-order items, processed products, and pierced earrings are excluded for hygiene reasons). In the event of a defective item or incorrect shipment, we will cover the return shipping costs. For returns due to personal preference, the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. For details, please see our notation based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does “undyed and untoned” mean?
It means that no dye is added and no color-toning treatment is used, preserving the natural hues and luster of Japanese Akoya pearls.
What are baroque and semi-baroque pearls?
These pearls are not perfectly round; each has different contours and fullness. Semi-baroque pearls have relatively gentle contours while retaining baroque individuality. Dimples and subtle surface variations also develop naturally as pearls grow.
Will I receive the exact item in the photos?
Photos show examples. We deliver equivalent items selected to our quality standards, but Japanese Akoya pearls vary individually in color, shape, luster, surface condition, and the contours of each pair due to growing conditions and differences between oysters.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping within Japan, including remote islands, is free. Delivery is by Yamato Transport.
Returns and exchanges
Unused items may be returned or exchanged after we review their condition, provided you contact us in advance within 8 days of delivery. Please contact our inquiry desk first.
