A quiet silver-gray for your neckline.
A single-pearl pendant necklace featuring a Japanese Akoya cultured pearl. Choose between two sizes: 9mm or 8mm. The undyed and untoned silver-gray luster changes its expression with the angle of the light, swaying elegantly at your throat. The SV925 chain is approximately 45cm and adjustable in length.
About the sizes
Both sizes are perfect for daily wear and complement any outfit.
- 9mm — Offers a distinct presence at the neckline. A single pearl is enough to elevate your ensemble, making it perfect for formal occasions as well.
- 8mm — A lighter, more delicate impression. It nestles softly against the neck, blending seamlessly with both shirts and knitwear.
Although the difference is only 1mm in diameter, because they are spheres, the visual impact when worn is noticeably different.

The Current State of Akoya Pearls
The number of producers farming Japanese Akoya pearls has dropped by about 80% over the last 30 years. Since 2019, combined with the mass mortality of mother shells, annual production has plummeted to around 12 tons. Meanwhile, demand continues to rise, especially from China, driving market prices higher each year.
Our products are crafted using pearls that we have secured by maintaining strong relationships with local producers before the recent price surges. If we were to source pearls of the same quality today, we would not be able to offer them at this price. We have only what is currently on hand.

About individual pearl variations
We do not use dyeing or color-toning treatments, allowing the natural color and luster of Akoya pearls grown in Japanese waters to shine through. Because these colors are born from the layers created by the oyster in the sea, there are individual differences in color, shape, luster, and surface characteristics such as tiny dimples or irregularities. The photos shown are examples of the product.
Delivery
Each item is inspected before shipment and delivered in a Bis・SPIRA jewelry case, accompanied by an IRIS・SPIRA quality certificate. Shipping is free within Japan, including remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days. Free gift wrapping is available upon request.

About the quality certificate
All products are delivered with a quality certificate issued by IRIS・SPIRA. This is a unique document detailing the type, size, color, and processing of your specific pearl, which will also assist in future consultations for adjustments or repairs.
Care and Maintenance
After wearing, please gently wipe with a soft cloth before storing. Simply removing sweat and oils will help maintain the pearl's luster for years. Please apply perfumes and hairsprays before putting on your jewelry. Store in a place where it will not rub against other pieces. For more details, see Pearl Care Instructions.
Delivery and Returns
Shipping is free within Japan, including remote islands. In-stock items are shipped via Yamato Transport within 3 business days, and free gift wrapping is available.
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 8 days of receipt, provided the item is unused and unworn (bespoke items, processed items, and pierced earrings are excluded for hygiene reasons). In the case of defective or incorrect items, we will cover the return shipping costs for a replacement. Frequently Asked Questions
What does “undyed and untoned” mean?
It means that no dye is added and no color-toning treatment is used, preserving the natural hues and luster of Japanese Akoya pearls.
What are baroque and semi-baroque pearls?
These pearls are not perfectly round; each has different contours and fullness. Semi-baroque pearls have relatively gentle contours while retaining baroque individuality. Dimples and subtle surface variations also develop naturally as pearls grow.
Will I receive the exact item in the photos?
Photos show examples. We deliver equivalent items selected to our quality standards, but Japanese Akoya pearls vary individually in color, shape, luster, surface condition, and the contours of each pair due to growing conditions and differences between oysters.
When will my order ship?
In-stock items ship within 3 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Shipping within Japan, including remote islands, is free. Delivery is by Yamato Transport.
Returns and exchanges
Unused items may be returned or exchanged after we review their condition, provided you contact us in advance within 8 days of delivery. Please contact our inquiry desk first.
